Always a sad time when a band member retires and tonight we said thank you to NORMAN COULL for all his service, on his retirement. Norman was one of the founder members of our band in 1997. Before that he had played for Aberdeen Caledonian, Grampian Police for 16 years, Turriff, Banchory, the TA Gordon’s and Scottish Horse.
A piper of such vast experience and skill, Norman is a huge loss to the band but we are delighted because he has agreed to become  an honorary band member. He says he is still going to come to practice - and we are delighted as we will still benefit from his support, teaching and experience!
